Gina celebrated her 8th birthday with a party at Claire's. She and a few girl friends were treated to a VIP shopping experience at Claire's before the store opened. They were treated to a makeover, fashion show and scavenger hunt. Afterwards, the girls went next door to Tutti Frutti for some frozen yogurt. Gina made a birthday wish in the fountain just outside. It was a super fun day!
On her actual birthday we had a family celebration in the morning, complete with a blondie "cupcake" for breakfast. Later in the day, two of Gina's close friends who didn't get to come to her girly party at Claire's came over for a "non-girly" birthday sleepover. They played basketball, ladder ball, video games, ate pizza and watched movies. They all had a blast!
